Step to Sucess is a motivational course developed in 1994. Five of the steps have not substantially changed since they were first presented on a "Seven at Eleven" show with Rene Newhouse to herald in the New Year. The five steps have been used as a guide with many of the author's courses. A sixth step was added in 2003; the book was created as a private title in 2004. Its popularity has brought it into a print publication, 2007. 

Blue Grama uses 100% recycled, 50-100% post consumer waste, chlorine free paper publishing the most environmentally sound manner books possible.

“Orkney”

The cover photo is a collage developed from two very old photos of the town of Orkney, Saskatchewan, where I was raised until the age of eight. My family lived on Maine Street in the housing area of the building in the photo, signed "T. E. Harris Jr. Cream of the West". At the time that I resided in Orkney, the front of a store had already been removed. Until I saw this photo in 2004, I had no idea that I was raised in quarters that had been in the back of a store—I just thought that our house was set back so that we could have a front yard to play in! West of this "house on main street" was Howlett's grocery store and to the east, a hotel. One of my favourite playmates, of that time, lived in the hotel; we often pretended to take tea together. The photos have helped me touch my roots. Rural roots such as I had, provide me with a sense of place and serve to remind me of the most valuable aspects of our lives: our relationships to earth and to community.
